Tres Leches (Three Milk Dessert)
Tres Leche Dessert in Chocolate Cup

Yield: 12 portions


3 eggs

1 Cup sugar

I tsp. vanilla

1 cup flour

11/2 tsp. baking powder

1 Cup evaporated milk

1 Cup condensed milk

1 Cup heavy cream

Combine eggs and sugar in a large bowl. Whip until creamy. Slowly add the vanilla and whip for an additional 2 minutes.

In a separate bowl, combine the flour and baking soda. Fold this mixture to the above with a spatula until smooth.

Pour mixture into a non-greased (nor, flour) Pyrex (18 x 28 cm). Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.

In a separate bowl, blend the evaporated and condensed milk, and heavy cream.

After the cake mixture above has baked and cooled down, pour the milk mixture over it and let stand, about 1 hour.


Mix 6 egg whites with 1/2 cup of sugar until peaks stand. Add on top of the cake mixture and torch to brown. Serve with strawberries and syrup. (served at our event in a chocolate cup)
